Mental health needs are also cared for by Psychiatric Services. Psychiatrists provide psychiatric evaluations, medication consultations, and short-term individual psychotherapy.  To access psychiatric services students must first complete an initial assessment which is done by a TCS counselor.  At that point a variety of treatment options may be offered at TCS as well as referral to outside providers.  Students access psychiatric services by appointment only.  In an emergency students may reach out to TCS to speak with a counselor to be reassessed.
